HEARTBURN CHEW APPLE GINGER 90 CHEWS NATURAL FACTORS
Natural Factors Heartburn Chew is formulated specifically for people who experience heartburn and minor GI inflammation by combining the soothing and protective properties of amla, deglycyrrhizinated licorice root (DGL), and slippery elm. This harmonious blend of clinically researched botanicals helps relieve minor inflammations of the gastrointestinal tract, abdominal pain, and burning sensation in the stomach.
Amla (Phyllanthus emblica) is traditionally used in Ayurveda to help relieve symptoms such as heartburn and indigestion associated with hyperacidity/dyspepsia, and as a digestive tonic to increase appetite and aid in digestion.
Licorice root has long been recognized for stimulating natural mucin production, the slippery protective coating of the stomach and intestines. DGL stands for “deglycyrrhizinated licorice,” meaning that this licorice root extract contains no glycyrrhizin and is suitable for people with high blood pressure.
The inner bark of slippery elm is a traditional herbal remedy rich in mucilage. It thickens and forms a protective coating over mucous membranes when mixed with water. Taken together, amla, DGL, and slippery elm provide even greater support than when taken individually.
Heartburn Chew is delivered in easy-to-take apple-ginger flavoured chewable tablets. Chewing helps mix the ingredients with saliva, allowing them to become active in the digestive tract. For the greatest effectiveness, chew one tablet between meals or 20 minutes before meals, up to three times daily.
