L-Methionine is classified as an essential amino acid, which means that it cannot be manufactured by the body. It must be obtained through the diet or by supplementation. L-Methionine, a sulphur-based amino acid, supports the production of the cellular antioxidant, glutathione, thereby assists in natural detoxification processes. In the body, L-Methionine can also be converted into SAMe (S-Adenosyl Methionine), a compound that supports healthy joints.

Adult Dosage: Take 1 capsule twice daily.

Each capsule contains:

L-Methionine 500 mg
Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) 10 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Capsule (gelatin, water), Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source) and Silica.

Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking levodopa, have disorders of homocysteine metabolism, gastric ulcer or liver disease. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. May cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, hypotension, and irritability.
