Crohns or Colitis... you might need more sleep

Did you know that not getting enough sleep can put you at more risk of getting Crohn's and Colitis? A new study published in the Journal Gastroenterology  found that six months of poor sleep quality was associated with twice the risk of flare ups for Crohns. If you are getting less than 6 hours per day or hear this more than 9 you might be putting yourself at greater risk of getting sick. Eat Your Dinner With Your Kids and They Might be Healthier

Having dinner together with your family might help kids from becoming fat a new study has shown.  The research found that kids of normal weight were more likely to eat meals with their family in a positive caring environment.  The researchers also found that if the dinner table was more chaotic overall, or that the family didn't eat together,  there was a greater chance that the kids would be overweight.  The study was done at the University of Minnesota.
